ICE cotton rose more than 2 percent on Monday on concerns over damage in Texas, the biggest US grower, from Hurricane Harvey, the most powerful storm to strike the state in more than 50 years. Cotton contracts for December settled up 1.68 cent, or 2.47 percent, at 69.83 cents per lb. It traded within a range of 68.56 and 69.95 cents a lb.
