Wheat futures settled with fractional losses in most front CBT and KC contracts, as back months were steady to higher. MPLS was 3 to 4 1/2 cents in the green. The USDA reported all wheat export sales during the week of 1/25 dropping from the previous week for old crop to 289,106 MT. That was 35.9% lower than this time last year and 32.3% behind last week. Japan purchased 56,286 MT of US wheat on Thursday, in their weekly MOA tender that saw 111,294 MT sourced from Australia, Canada, and the US. That business will show up in next week’s USDA report.
